Today I removed the OEM cartridge. I replaced it with one of my 2 refillable cartridges. I carefully pressed down. The light DID NOT BLINK. The printer is now working with refillable cartridges. I did not need to use tape. THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING THE SOLUTION.
