WebFeb 2, 2012 · I have an original Dickerson 8014 and I like it best with a DT-5. Tapers respond to casting style and mine is fast. Most other folks would likely prefer a WF-6 with it. I think you should consider a 8014 Guide taper if you're thinking about heavy water.
