WebDare to Disturb the Sound of Silence with the Word of God Darkness may be an old friend, as Paul Simon wrote, but the Bible tells us that, for Christians, darkness is not our closest friend. While there are times when it might seem that way, Jesus is always our closest friend! God will not leave us in despair. WebI feel like the production has been lacking for the last few albums as well. The Johnny K produced albums sound gritty and heavy, the newer ones don’t have that classic Disturbed sound in the production/mixing. I know it’s at least partly due to Disturbed not being as heavy in general anymore, but the mixing doesn’t help.
